Hollywood Express Video ("Hollywood Express") is committed to protecting the privacy of our website users ("Users"). This statement is meant to inform our Users of what personally identifiable data we gather, and to what purposes such data is used.

Hollywood Express defines personally identifiable data as information that includes any combination of the following: a person's full name, street address, telephone number, date of birth, email address and/or the genre of products rented or purchased. Hollywood Express gathers such data in two ways:

• The User supplies the data in response to a request from us; or
• Cookie Technology

Hollywood Express collects personally identifiable data from Users when voluntarily submitted, for example, when registering for an e-newsletter or other individualized services, entering a promotional contest or purchasing products online. We require that a User be 18 years of age or older to submit personally identifiable data. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable data from children under the age of 13, and we screen Users who wish to submit personally identifiable data to prevent children under the age of 13 from providing such data. If we become aware that we have inadvertantly received personally identifiable data from a User under the age of 13, we will delete such information from our records. If our practices should change in the future, we will obtain prior, verifiable parental consent before collecting any personally identifiable data from children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly permit children under the age of 13 to publicly post or otherwise distribute personally identifiable contact information. Because we do not knowingly collect any personally identifiable data from children under the age of 13, we do not condition the participation in online activities of a child under the age of 13 on providing personally identifiable data.

Hollywood Express also uses cookie technology to process and identify order data and to manage advertising displays. A cookie is a piece of information that is transferred to a User's hard drive for record-keeping purposes. Users have the option to set their browser to refuse cookies, if they so choose.

Hollywood Express may use personally identifiable data collected online to develop and improve the products and services we offer to our Users. Hollywood Express may use certain User data in the ordinary course of its business, for example, account maintenance and debt collection. Certain data gathered in collection with product purchases may be provided to third parties for use in transaction authorization, fraud scoring and fraud prevention modeling.

Except as denoted above, Hollywood Express will not communicate with Users by email or provide User data to third parties unless the User has provided explicit permission to Hollywood Express, or unless provision of such data is required by law or other regulation.
